T. Lawrence Eyre

1. T. Lawrence Eyre (24 May 1862 - 21 Sep 1926)

Graduate of West Chester Normal School (now West Chester University), long time Republican political leader and elected official, culminating in the position of Majority Leader in the Senate of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. One story says that he threw shiny new dimes to the waiting children when he participated in local parades. Constructed and lived in "Eyreview", which still stands on North High Street, West Chester, Pa.
